EDER - Felling Wedge - RipJack 20, available starting in early October 2026
The EDER – Felling Wedge – RipJack 20 is the ideal mechanical felling wedge for demanding felling operations. With a maximum lifting capacity of 20 metric tons and a wedge extension of 100 mm ,it enables controlled and safe felling – even for larger trees.
Thanks to its light weight of just 2 kg, the RipJack 20 is easy to transport and quick to deploy. It is powered via a SW16 hex drive using a standard impact wrench ( max. 750 Nm ) or alternative with a ratchet.
Note: Impacht wrench, ratchet and SW16 nut are not part of the package.

Note: Do not forget to grease the felling wedges!
The lifting power of your EDER felling wedge can only be achieved with sufficient lubrication. Dry extension under load can cause damage.
Therefore: Lubricate your felling wedge with a suitable grease before each felling process.
Additionally:
If the felling wedge has been exposed to moisture, it must be relubricated immediately.
Follow the instructions in the operating manual for your felling wedge.
