The combination of a log splitter and a hydraulic unit is an economical alternative to using a tractor or Unimog.
The EDER- Log Splitter is suitable for splitting logs regardless of length and diameter. With the log splitter, splitting of long or fibrous logs is much easier and faster. The logs lying on the ground can be split into two or more parts, as required. The device is also suitable for splitting tree tops.
The EDER- Hydraulic Unit is optimised for use with our hydraulic log splitters. It supplies oil pressure and oil quantity in such a way that work can be carried out quickly and powerfully using these tools. The unit is powered by an economical Honda GX 200 4-stroke petrol engine with an output of 4.3 kW (5.8 hp). Weighing only about 30 kg, the unit is built into a carrying frame and can thus be easily transported by one or two persons. It can also be used for other applications where an oil flow of up to 12 litres per minute and an oil pressure of 150 bar (max. 210 bar) are required.

EDER Log Splitter
Yes, the log splitter can be connected to the hydraulics of a tractor, Unimog or hydraulic power pack. For hydraulic systems with adjustable flow pumps, an oil flow of 20 l/min must be set.
150 bar – a pressure relief valve regulates higher pressures down.
The standard 10 m hose connection between the hydraulic drive and the log splitter allows sufficient room to move for the operator.
