daWinchi bollard
The EDER – daWinchi bollard combines the functions of a winch and a conventional bollard in a single unit. Since the central drum can rotate in one direction, you can switch between lowering and winching without having to re-route the rope. The drive rod included in the scope of delivery is used to drive the drum on the winches. To conveniently position the bollard, the winch can be temporarily secured to the trunk using an integrated steel pin. It is then secured to the tree using two tension straps (these are not included in the scope of delivery).
To prevent damage to the tree, a tree guard (available as an accessory) can be used for loads of up to 5 kN.

Operation
The EDER – WINCH 500 B is controlled outside the danger zone. By pulling lightly on the rope, the throttle trigger of the control unit is moved and the winch starts to pull.
Rope brake
Maximum safety thanks to the rope brake! As soon as the operator releases the rope, the winch stops and the rope is clamped in the brake. This prevents the load from slipping back unintentionally. The brake can, however, be released on purpose.
